About the Waukegan Youth baseball

Dear Parents/Players,

On behalf of the WYB Board, we are excited about this upcoming Baseball Season for all age groups.  One of our main goals as a board was to restructure our current baseball program.  I want to take this opportunity and thank all the volunteers who have made WYB what it is today and continue building our baseball legacy in both past, present, and future. One of our goals was not so much revamping our program like we are doing today, but to communicate with the community with all the latest news and putting new logistics in place to grow.

We are challenging current athletes in Basketball, Football, and Soccer (to name a few) to step up and join our baseball program at WYB.  Statistics show that you have 29% more of a chance to receive additional collegiate scholarships.  If you have a friend, we challenge you to nudge them into taking our baseball challenge.

Registration is still open. You may register your child online at www.waukeganyouthbaseball.com.  Last year, we broke some new ground in our baseball journey and did it successfully. This year, I can't emphasize enough some of the changes baseball has in store for our kids, again, for ALL age groups. We are all excited about what we have in store.

Assistant Coaches/Coaches: If you are interested in helping out at practices and games, please let your league director know, or send me an email. I believe in getting as many parents involved as possible and will probably be able to find something you can do to contribute.  Coaches are always welcomed.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or comments that you may have.

Please pass this email to family or friends that will be interested in baseball this year.

Sincerely,

Waukegan Youth Baseball Board
